A Finn wants to go to sauna on a holiday, and a Finnish sauna is an experience for many foreigners. In the Forssa region, there are smoke saunas, underground saunas, a boat sauna, a landscape sauna and traditional lakeside saunas, among others. The sauna experience can also be completed by bathing in a hot tube or by taking a dip in the freesing cold water throught an ice hole in winter.
The Jokioinen Karelia Society offers a public mixed sauna session at Rehtijärvi lakeside.
The sauna will be heated on summer Tuesdays from 5 pm to 8 pm, between June 6th and July 29th, 2026.
The sauna fee of 5€ per session covers the sauna, the lake, coffee, and something with a coffee. There is also the option to grill, rent SUP boards (10€ per session), etc.
Note! Mixed sauna, so bring your swimwear! Seperate dressing rooms men and women.
